Abstract

Effective consent as an indispensable precondition for the formal guarantee of express, prior and complete information, entailing the disclosure of the terms and scope of the measure for which authorisation to enter and search a constitutionally protected dwelling is sought, with a view to preventing any severance of the nexus between the intrusion actually carried out and the consented purpose that was granted.
