Abstract

This essay analyzes the evolution of indirect taxation on sales and capital transfers over last fifty years in Spain. It describes not only the different indirect taxes but also the reason and aim of the different reforms. Unfortunately, the multiple changes in indirect taxation on sales and capital transfers have not resolved the problems on this issue.
